About me: I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Certified Holistic Coach serving the Treasure Coast and Palm Beach area for 16 years. I am the owner La Rosa Healing formerly known as Sierra Life Coaching and Counseling. I earned my Bachelors Degree in Social Work in 1997 from Kean University NJ, a Master Degree in Social Work at Barry University, Fl in 2010, I also hold Dual Coaching Certificates from the Holistic Coach Training Institute and The Fowler International Academy of Professional Coaching. She obtained a Reiki Certificate Level I & II in 2023. I am a proud member of the Florida National Association of Social Workers and has served as a Board Member, representing Treasure Coast, Fl counties for 6 years. In my work I have supported clients with navigating the complex healthcare system, provided counseling to individuals with chronic illness, chronic stress, through grief, loss and life transitions. I specialize in counseling, holistic life coaching, mindfulness practice, self-care and caregiver burnout prevention all while focusing on the person mind, body and spirit. Serving with compassion I have found it a privilege and honor to serve clients in many roles including Healthy Start Case Manager and Group Facilitator, Hospital Case Manager, Hospice Social Worker, Children and Family Counselor, Community Outreach Worker, Health Educator/Advocate, Senior Living Advisor, Caregiver Counselor and Care Manager. I enjoy being creative with painting and sketching, long walks on the beach and spending time with friends and family.
